The Kenner Horse Ranch was not always so--focused on horses! Yet, it is one of the oldest working ranches in Julian. Today however, horses have become the heart and soul of the ranch. These great animals have taught us so much. They have also become great partners in the businesses of the ranch. Now, though it seems amazing, they are helping us re-learn so much of what we once new about horses.
Our commitment has always been to provide the best experience to our ranch visitors in all the equine activities we offer at the ranch. To do this, we have had to re-discover so much about horses and horse care. This part of our Web site is about sharing with you what we are learning and the way we are learning it.
We have been surprised about how easy it is to create a healthy environment for our four legged partners. The first step has been not to accept everything we once knew about horses but to challenge it. Some of what was known we keep, some of it we ignore. Let us know if you agree.
