Tess is a young chestnut quarter horse mare. She came to the ranch to learn how to become a trail horse. When she first arrived, Tess was silly about things, but she has come to be very brave and willing. It has been very rewarding to see her attitude mature. She will behave nicely for beginning riders, but will also rise to the occasion to bushwack through unknown and rough terrain with a lone rider looking for lost cows. We are very proud of her.
